POSITION | Director of Sustainability

As director, Greg is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of Northwestern’s sustainability programs. Greg has more than 20 years of combined project management and consulting experience in sustainability, energy management, carbon markets, corporate social responsibility (CSR), communications and stakeholder engagement.

Greg earned a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a M.S. from the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability. Prior to joining Northwestern in 2019, Greg spent 7 years at United Airlines where he led cross-divisional sustainability programs as well as managed the development and implementation of United’s sustainable biofuels strategy including technical due diligence, supplier evaluation, fuel certification, LCA analysis, tax incentives, accounting, delivery and logistics.

Greg serves on the Midwest Climate Summit Steering Committee and Climate Action sub-committee.
