POSITION | Energy and Climate Data Analyst
Claire Santoro is the Energy and Climate Data Analyst for Washington University’s Office of Sustainability. In her role, she works with WashU and the City of St. Louis to accelerate regional energy and carbon reductions through initiatives related to building energy efficiency and large-scale renewables. A data scientist and information designer, Claire focuses in particular on guiding environmental decision-making through data visualization and communications.
Claire has a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan and undergraduate degrees in Environmental Studies and Economics from Brown University. Prior to joining WashU in 2019, she worked for eight years as a senior environmental policy consultant.
Claire serves on the Climate Action and Outreach & Engagement sub-committees.
