Jennifer Mefford’ Biography
Jennifer Mefford has over 28 years of business development, marketing, and management experience for an array of large, small, and mid-sized companies.
As Director of Business Development for the Southeastern Michigan Labor Management Cooperation Committee for the past 12 years, she is tasked with business development across traditional and new market sectors on behalf of the National Electrical Contractors Association of Southeastern Michigan and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 58.
Jennifer serves as National Co-Chair for the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP), a coalition of automakers, utilities, EVSE manufacturers and other stakeholders that delivers EVSE installation training and certification throughout the U.S. and Canada for residential, commercial, public and fleet markets. www.EVITP.org.
Ms. Mefford also serves as the Director of Workforce Development and Outreach for a coalition of union construction employers and union trades organizations in Southeast MI called MUST Construction Careers (Management & Unions Serving Together). Ms. Mefford works with educators, career placement professionals, students, and parents to elevate connectivity with trades apprenticeships and construction careers and with companies seeking to develop stronger skilled trades talent pipelines.
